Professional Development Trainings

Just as young children learn through hands-on exploration, so do teachers. Tamara engages participants in educational and reflective experiences to connect their experiences to the theory and practice of developmentally appropriate practice, anti-bias curriculum, learning in nature, and Reggio Emilia inspirations. From working with small centers or presenting at nation conferences, Tamara inspires professionals to deepen their knowledge and reconnect to the joy of learning together with young children and with fellow professionals.

Coaching

Professional development does not stop when you enter educational leadership. Whether you are a seasoned director, a new head teacher, and board members new to the field, coaching with Tamara Clark can provide on-going support for development, help you tackle current challenges, and provide a framework for future planning.

Site Consultations

The educators of Reggio Emilia schools in Italy have shown the world that the environment is the third teacher. Careful consideration of layout, design, lighting, and equipment is essential to creating a vibrant learning environment indoors and outside. Whether you are re-working an existing space or starting from scratch, Tamara can bring her extensive design experience to your project.

Parent Education

We know that parents and caregivers are children's first teachers, and that early childhood educators partner with families to support young children's learning. Tamara Clark can create a parent education workshop or presentation to meet your specific needs, or can draw on topics like: Early Literacy, Learning through Play, Kindergarten Readiness, Early Intervention, Challenging Behaviors,  and Talking about Race with Young Children.
